Mysty Langford, CHFP
Managing Partner
A legal professional with over 24 years experience, Mysty was previously the Director of Operations for a mid-size law firm in Nevada. She brings a level of operational efficiency to collections, which seeks to maximize the benefit to Langford Financial Services (LFS) internally, as well as, externally to its client base. Mysty works closely with LFS legal team to utilize every legal remedy available to increase client returns. She is a proud member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has earned accreditation as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR).
Committed to all things technology, Mysty is tirelessly devoted to increasing the strength of LFS advances in collection automation. Langford holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is currently obtaining a M.B.A. degree from Louisiana State University.
L. Allen Langford
Chief Executive Officer
As a collections executive for the past 21 years with a wealth of experience in financial services, regulatory issues, liability and recovery, Allen previously served as the head of collections for a large multi-state agency focusing on third-party liability and bad debt accounts.
Seeking to fill a void in the Mississippi market, he founded LFS in 2000. Since that time LFS’s client roster has expanded to incorporate accounts of solo practitioners, multi-site facilities and community-based hospitals.
Devoted to improved practice and compliance, Allen continues membership in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals International.
Jeffrey M. Williams
General Counsel
As LFS's General Counsel, Jeff Williams brings a broad practice experience which includes litigating lender deficiencies, personal guaranty liability, premises liability, legal and professional malpractice defense, toxic tort defense, insurance coverage questions, construction defects, securities offerings, corporate debt collection, contract disputes, personal injury claims, and product defect / warranty claims. Jeff likewise is a partner with Hubbard, Mitchell, Williams and Strain.
Prior to Hubbard Mitchell, Jeff served in the United States Air Force, served as a law clerk for Federal District Court Judge Charles W. Pickering, Sr. and was also a partner with the former Wells, Moore, Simmons & Hubbard, PLLC. In addition to his practice of law, Jeff also proudly serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Mississippi Air National Guard.
